Ski Mountaineering Expedition

East Greenland is home to vast areas of beautiful alpine peaks perfectly suited to ski mountaineering! Being in the High Arctic the snow quality is variable. Anyone embarking on a ski expedition to Greenland should be aware that it’s about the whole package of remoteness and breathtaking scenery - not just the quality of the skiing itself. That said the skiing can be exceptionally good, particularly in the spring when the sun begins to soften the wind hardened snow pack.

Mountaineering

The peaks of East Greenland provide the perfect playground for alpinists. Due to the remote nature of the area many of the mountain ranges see very few visitors and there are numerous unclimbed peaks waiting for a first ascent!

Testimonials

“Scott guided us in the Liverpool Land area of Greenland in early spring 2017. We had an amazing trip which in no small measure was down to Scott’s skills, professionalism, & positive helpful nature. We felt very safe under Scott’s guidance, he was extremely patient in answering our endless stream of questions. We really enjoyed his company and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a guide.”
